DIRECTIONS: From the District, take Rhode Island Avenue east to Maryland (becomes Route One or Baltimore Avenue in Md.) Follow along Rhode Island Ave through Mt. Rainier, Brentwood and N Brentwood into Hyattsville. Just past “Franklin’s Brewery” on the right hand side is a small bridge to Alt Route One. Take that right turn onto the bridge.
At the first traffic light, make a quick left onto Decatur St – the road dips severely and crosses a railroad track. Cross a small bridge decorated with art work about diversity in Edmonston. Immediately after the bridge, make a right onto 51st Avenue. Make another right onto Crittenden and go to the parking lot at the end of the street. You will see the farm, behind the former tennis courts.
Warning: Mapquest is inaccurate, and Crittenden does not intersect with Kenilworth Ave. From Kenilworth Avenue, N or S, you need to enter our neighborhood via Decatur Street to the north or Buchanan Street to the south. Either way, turn on 51st Avenue (left turn from Decatur/right from Buchanan), then onto Crittenden Street.
