Community Food Survey Day at Autumn Woods
Saturday, June 15th, 2013
We will conduct a food access survey at the Autumn Woods Apartments in Bladensburg to learn about the residents’ food needs in order to make healthy food more accessible & affordable.
Going door-to-door, we hope to reach the majority of residents.
You can help make eating good food an easy choice in our community. This survey will gather key information about food access and be the basis of ongoing conversations with Autumn Woods residents.
Volunteers can choose to survey with us for the entire day from 8:30AM to 4:30PM or either in the morning from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM or in the afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Bilingual (Spanish/English speaking) volunteers are encouraged to participate. If you plan to participate in the surveying, please dress appropriately for the weather, lots of walking and door knocking!
