Now Accepting Applications for the 2012 Beginner Farmer Training Program

Future Harvest-Chesapeake Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture is now accepting applications from new farmers across the Chesapeake region interested in participating in the Beginner Farmer Training Program (BFTP) 2012 program year.

Internship in Agriculture Education

Interested in Agricultural Education? If so, TapRoots needs YOU!!!

TapRoots is an education program that places a specific emphasis on hands on learning to enhance middle school science curriculum. Since December 2010 TapRoots has invested time and resources to investigate techniques on how to interweave an agricultural educational with Maryland public schools. TapRoots officials have determined the appropriate pedagogy for Maryland schools and will be launching the revised curriculum in January 2012 at Greenbelt Middle School.

There are several objectives still to be met in order for the TapRoots program to be successful. TapRoots seeks to fulfill several internship positions for next year. Please read the details below. City Blossoms is a non-profit dedicated to kid-driven, community engaged, creative green spaces. If you would like to join us, we are currently accepting applications for our winter/spring cycle of interns (January through May). The positions we have open are:
