July 18 Community Event: Summer Open House
2ND ANNUAL BLADENSBURG FARM SUMMER OPEN HOUSE
Friday, July 18th from 6-8pm
FREE FOOD: Burgers, hotdogs, and chips prepared by our Summer Youth Program.
COOKING DEMO: Farm-fresh tastings prepared by local Chef Jarmonay Nelson.
FARMSTAND: Take home fresh vegetables grown at ECO City Farms! Our farmstand accepts SNAP/EBT, SUN Bucks, FMNP, SFMNP, and eWIC. For benefits recipients, we also offer 50% discounts with Maryland Market Money (daily limits may apply).
TOURS: Tour the farm to learn about our Certified Naturally Grown vegetable production and community programming!
VENDERS: Community Native Planting Project, University of Maryland Extension Master Gardener Program, and Prince George’s County Memorial Library System
KIDS’ ACTIVITIES: Fun for all ages with facepainting, art activities, and ECO’s infamous smoothie bike!
CSA RAFFLE: Enter our raffle for the chance to win a free 18-week CSA share.
