Vermicast “Bladensburg Blend”
Price range: $60.00 through $130.00
Description: Our Bladensburg Blend vermicast is made with love by thousands of red wiggler earthworms at our Bladensburg Farm. We use these castings in our seed starting mixture, as a soil amendment and in our compost extract.
When it comes to using vermicast a little bit goes a long way! We recommend using no more than 1/3 in a seed starting mixture or potting mix, applying 1-2 inches of depth on soil or around established plants.
Size options:
- 5 gal bucket- 5 gal bucket with a lid – $60, includes price of bucket w/ lid (good for home gardeners)
- 12 gal container – 12gal container – $130, includes price of container (good for urban farmers and advanced home gardeners )
