On January 26th, ECO lost the heart of our farm operations when our nursery collapsed under the weight of many pounds of snow and ice.
ECO’s nursery is not only essential to growing all of the transplants for our own vegetable production, but also for growing plants for our spring seedling sale, for fulfilling contracts with other farmers and growers to grow their seedlings, and to provide a learning space for our Beginning Farmer Training Program on how to successfully grow transplants for production farming.
In order to continue providing healthy, locally grown food to our community in 2026, and to continue educating others how to farm, we need to replace our nursery ASAP. Can you help us rebuild?
Anything you’re able to contribute contribute helps!
With support from our friends, a little elbow grease, and plenty of upcycling, we know we can get back on track growing food for our community, again soon.
